Getting started with BCDA Jewelry-making Classes

The Fundamentals classes can be take in any order; however, I recommend that most beginning beaders start with the Fundamentals of Bead Stringing and the Fundamentals of Crimping. One of the great things about these Bead Corner Design Academy classes is that they emphasize the techniques rather than the project. When you register for class, you will receive a syllabus with a suggested supply list for class, but you have the freedom to choose the colors and types of beads. After all, you want to learn to create beautiful jewelry that suits your unique style.

Beginning beaders who want to learn techniques for making earrings and wire-wrapped beads and pendants should check out the Fundamentals of Wire Wrapping. The Fundamentals of Knotting is a great class for people interested in incorporating hemp and other fibers, and making more natural or masculine jewelry.

More advanced jewelry makers who want to learn a new technique may be interested in our intermediate classes, or Fundamentals such as Wire Crochet and Metal Stamping.
